Costume Parade

Emma and Wilson had a great time at the annual Costume Parade at their preschool this week. The kids were all dressed up and super excited to parade around and show the parents how cute they looked! Emma was a cat and Wilson was a dragon--ADORABLE!!

All I want for Christmas...

Samuel lost both of his front teeth this week. He lost one Tuesday night during dinner and the other one finally came out today at school. He looks so cute! The tooth fairy is a busy lady at our house this week!

Scarecrow Sightings

There is a town about thirty minutes away that set the world record for the most Scarecrows this fall. It is the cutest town and the main street of the town is lined with scarecrows. They are adorable---every type of scarecrow you can imagine--pirates, policemen, Batman, Indians, Bugs Bunny, Queens, babies, hunters and more! The kids had a ball enjoying an absolutely gorgeous fall afternoon there last Sunday and seeing all the scarecrows. I think they had their picture made with 90% of the scarecrows! I won't make you look at them all but here are a few of my favorites! Happy Fall!

Minnie Mouse Tea Party

Emma was invited to her first girl birthday party this week. HOW CUTE!! It was for her good friend from preschool, Evelyn. Evelyn's parents did an amazing job throwing this party. It was so thematic and adorable. The girls wore their favorite "party dress" and enjoyed a morning of Minnie Mouse and a Tea Party. Such a great, fun way to celebrate in girly-girly style. Here's a few of my favorite pictures from the party.

GOAL for GREEN

Samuel's soccer team is doing super this fall. It is great to watch them practice and play. This is his first year but he loves it so far. His coach is super patient with the team and really teaches them how to enjoy the game------and have fun!! Here are a few pictures from the last game.

Say Cheese -It's Picture Day

Emma and Wilson had picture day at preschool last week. They were so cute all dressed up with their hair done and ready to say cheese!! I had to take a few quick pictures before they headed to school that day. Enjoy!

Fall Festival

I love fall festivals! This is a great time of year to be outdoors and enjoy the gorgeous days. We went to a fun fall festival on Saturday. There is a great local festival that is always great. The kids had a ball--the high light was the horses. This was Emma's first time to ride a horse. She could hardly wait! She smiled ear to ear the entire time. Samuel rode a horse too and just loved every second of it. Wilson wanted to ride the horses until he saw the inflatables.......then he decided to just jump!

Post Placement Visit #2

We are excited to say we completed our second post placement visit today with our social worker. It was good to have that done and to celebrate our six month mark. It was fun to talk with our social worker and recognize all the ways Emma has developed in the last six months. It is amazing how our family has meshed together. It has been such an incredible journey and we feel so blessed!
