As far as an update on our adoption we are still in the waiting stage. Continue to pray for our future daughter. We are excited to have her one day join our family and we continue to pray God will keep her safe, healthy, happy and well loved during this time. We will keep you updated as we find out more.
Some of our friends and family have asked if they can make a donation towards our adoption costs. I really wasn't sure how that worked so I contacted my agency. I found out you can make a donation and it is tax deductible. It can be made through our agency which is Families For Children. The donation should be sent to them and just add our name in the memo line or attach a note. Like I said any amount is tax deductible. One other thing some friends and family have asked me about is a registry. Since our daughter will be preschool age some were not sure how we would do that. But, yes, we will still be happy to do a registry for her so if anyone would like to shop they can. We will do that after we receive a referral and are approved by all of the parties involved. Our house is full of boy stuff---dinos, trucks, and super heroes so it will be fun to have a few pink, girly things. :)
