Two Peas in a Pod

I have to say these two have become two peas in a pod. When we adopted Emma seven weeks ago and arrived home soon after , Wilson, our youngest son, was not so sure about having a new sister. He knew he was still the "baby" of the family, which he was very glad for, but he wasn't so sure about sharing his territory so to speak. Samuel was instantly smitten with Emma so he happy as could be from the start with his new sister.

I can honestly say after less than two months these two have really bonded. They have a great time together---some sibling rivalry from time to time----but hey, what brother and sister don't have that. Their favorite things to do together are color, watch Dora, ride bikes, play in the wagon, and play play dough. Their communication still cracks me up---Emma's English is progressing so well but Wilson still continues to speak "Willinese" as we call it. He has learned so many phrases in Mandarin and loves to speak it but he also likes to make up his own words--half Mandarin and half English. It is hysterical to listen to them converse. Here are a few pictures I took of them this week. Enjoy!
