I LOVE fall! It is my favorite season. After long, hot Georgia summers it is always so refreshing and energizing to see fall. The cooler weather makes being outside (which we love) so much more fun! The kids and I would stay outside all day if we could. We have been to the park so many times after school in the past week. One of my favorite fall spots is my in laws house at the lake. Because it's in middle Georgia it is still warm enough to swim but cool enough to enjoy sitting on the dock and watching all the fun! We spent two days at the lake this weekend. It was gorgeous. We also got to enjoy some time with some special friends and family. What a blessing it was!

Isabella and Ellie meet the kids
Wilson and Emma both enjoyed field trips with their preschool classes this week. Each class spent a morning at Build a Bear making their class mascot. Wilson's class chose a bear as their mascot and named her Isabella. Emma's class chose an elephant named Ellie. Both of the classes had a lot of fun wearing their bear hats, stuffing the animals, choosing an outfit for it and making a birth certificate. The kids in the class will take turns bringing home the class mascot when it is their turn to be the captain--Emma and Wilson can hardly wait until it's their turn!

Go Green!
Samuel started playing soccer this fall. His team has played two games so far. The first game was so funny--more like a pile of boys than a soccer game. But, the last game was much better. They are starting to get the hang of it and even figure out which goal they are supposed to kick the ball in to. Samuel hustled great Saturday. He even scored his first goal. The excitement on his face was priceless!!!

Preschool Time
Wilson and Emma have officially started preschool. They went last week to meet their teachers and had a half day of school today. They were both super excited! Emma has asked me for a week, "How many more days until school?" This is her first time going to school. They were both especially excited about the toys in their classrooms and doing art. I am excited for them.

Happy Birthday, Emma!
We celebrated Emma's 5th birthday Friday! What a fun day!! She has been doing the birthday countdown for a month. Every day she will ask me, "Mommy, how many more days until my birthday?" She could hardly wait! We started the day off with some girl time. Emma, her grandmothers, and I headed out for a fun girl day. We had pedicures, followed by lunch at Blessings Cottage and then went to paint pottery. Emma picked out a puppy piggy bank to paint. She painted it pink and it turned out so adorable. She was very proud of it! There was another lady painting there and she even gave Emma a quarter to put it in. It made her day!! We had family over that evening for a cook out and cake. Emma wanted a Camp Rock cake so Daddy saved the day by finding some Camp Rock decorations at the Disney store. It was adorable and she loved it! Her face was too cute when it came time to open presents. I think she had a ball and thoroughly enjoyed every single second of her special day!

My little fours!
For a few weeks I actually have two four year olds. Emma and Will think it is so "cool" that they are both 4!! They are so proud to tell people. Emma is starting to realize more and more that her birthday is just around the corner so now she says "Me almost five". Will and Emma continue to make me smile so often. They love to play dress up during the day while Big Brother is at school. Today they asked to play dress up and came out all fixed up with huge smiles on their faces. Today they told me they were "Gravis" from Star Wars (although in Pirate attire..ha) and Emma said she is "Mommy named Nicole". So, here they are all dressed up and having fun!
