Visiting The Coop

Some of our dear friends recently got ten baby chicks and built a great chicken coop. We went for a visit this weekend and had so much fun seeing these cute little chicks. Here are a few pictures of us enjoying The Coop at The Sheppard's house.

The Dragons in Action

Wilson is playing soccer this spring and his team name is The Dragons. This team is so cute to watch--six four and five year old boys running around in a clump.....kicking the ball every so often, laughing, and having a ton of fun. Wilson hasn't been quite as into soccer as he first thought he would be. He has decided he wants to play but doesn't want anyone to cheer for him. So...we decided not to cheer...and he finally got on the field and actually played in the game Saturday...and even smiled a few times! I had to catch the moment on camera---it may be fleeting! :)The team had perfect weather and a fun game!

A Break at the Lake

We enjoyed a wonderful Spring Break at the lake in April. It was so nice and relaxing. The kids enjoyed time off of school. Mommy enjoyed sleeping in a little! We played cards, rode bikes, enjoyed Meme's cooking and even got to enjoy the boat one day when it warmed up to the mid 70s. We are so thankful and fun spot to get away to and enjoy each others company and God's creation!

Soccer Stars

Emma is having a great time playing soccer this spring. She is on a team of six little girls, all five years old and cute as can be. They named their team "The Stars". Here are a few action shots from one of her recent soccer games.

Happy One Year Anniversary

We celebrated our one year anniversary of the adopting Emma. What an amazing year it has been. We have seen her grow in so many ways and we have seen ourselves grow as well. We are blessed to have her as our daughter and as the boys' sister. We celebrated the day with some yummy ice cream at Ben and Jerry's!

Happy Spring

Happy Spring from the Echols! We hope this time of year reminds you of how blessed we are. It is amazing to watch how God created this amazing world and how He renews it each spring. The gorgeous flowers, dogwoods and tulips remind me each year of the beauty of His creation. Enjoy!

Getting Warmer

It is getting warmer here...spring is just around the corner! We are all enjoying longer days and warmer weather! The kids love to go outside and going to the park is one of their favorite things to do. Eric took them to the park Tuesday evening and they had a ball taking off their shoes and playing in the sand. Looking forward to many spring days ahead.
