Hello from Taipei, Taiwan

HI!!
We are in TAiwan! We had a good flight.........so long.........oh my goodness. But, it was smooth. No layovers, no lost baggage and good movies (in English thankfully) to watch on the way over. :) So, thank you God for all of those blessings!
We got to bed about 1:00 AM. We got in about 10:45 and had a ride to the hotel from the airport. Our taxi driver was very nice. We went out walking about midnight lst night in search of a 7 11 to get a snack adn coke..none were open so we headed into a local spot which was a barbeque bar.....yes, a barbeque bar!! Cracked me up. Anyway, i found french fries a sprite so I was happy as a clam.
There are some other families from the US here that are adopting so that's nice and our agency director's husband is here from UTAH so we get to have lunch with him about 11:30 today before he flies back to UT. That will be cool. Nice to put a name with a face after talking to his wife and he and emailing with t hem all the time for the last year.
We are adjusting to the time change......12 hours so that may take some time to get used to. :)
We are going to get out and do some adventuring today after our lunch with James.
Eric is pumped about trying some Taiwanese food. I am on the hunt for some cute girls shoes........ha!! Oh well, to each his own in a foreign country right..ha!!
Today is Sat. here...Friday night at home. So, happy Friday to y'all. By the way yesterday was our anniversary......ten years. IT was so funny...with the time change of 12 hours and then the long flight we basically slept through our entire ten year anniversary. ha! We will celebrate this weekend. :)
