After many hours of traveling from Taiwan on Sunday, April 6th we made it home safely very late Sunday night. Emma did SUPER on all of the plane rides and the time in between flights in the airports. I was amazed. She was a trooper. We began the morning early with a ride to the airport in Taipei, then a flight to Japan, and then another flight (a long one) from Japan to LA. We had a slight problem in LA--our flight was cancelled. We began praying and getting on as many stand by lists as possible. We didn't make the first stand by list and were thinking we wouldn't make the second one either--which meant the boys would have to wait another day to see Mommy and Daddy and meet their sister....but Praise The Lord.....a man came up to the desk at the last second and said he wasn't going to be able to fly out and wanted to give up his seat! So, that meant there was room for three...we did a quick hallelujah dance and then boarded the plane for our final flight from LA to GA. We had a safe trip and landed in GA late on Sunday night--about 11:00. Emma was so ecstatic to get off the plane and meet her brothers. She was so cute..smiling from ear to ear. I really thought she would be more hesitant but she was all for it. We could hardly wait to see them too. It was AWESOME to finally get to the baggage claim area and see our sons and our parents. They were so cute! They made a sign and had a balloon for Emma. They came right up to her and us with hugs. She handled it beautifully. I again stood amazed. Here are a few pictures from our homecoming. Safe flights home, super traveling, and only one lost suitcase.........but hey, that's OK.....it's GOOD to be HOME and to finally have our family all together.
